We are a young Dutch Design brand with a mission; we want to make people more aware of the value of reusing materials. Now it is often not clear whether a product is made from recycled material. It is simply not visible. We want to change that.
By always keeping waste visually recognizable in design, by turning it into a visual design quality, we let a product itself tell the story of recycling. We create our own products and commissioned with this vision. And we call on all designers to join us. Let’s create more awareness for recycled materials in our designs.

We make our own plate material called CapsPlate®. With this plate material made from 100% recycled plastic bottle caps (PE), we work with designers and architects to create striking design pieces. But we have also turned it into our own product line: WasteBoards, vazes, side tables and light screens. For companies and organizations we like to do unique projects; to create design pieces from their own waste stream. And we are happy to help create an impactful campaign with it.
Our first product is WasteBoards, skateboards made from recycled plastic bottle caps. WasteBoards appeared in international media like Forbes, The Independer and is also for sale in MoMa NY and The Design Museum in London. Click here to check out more about WasteBoards.

CONVERSATION STARTERS
Our waste made design products do not solve our client’s sustainability challenges, they enthuse people to know more about our clients sustainability story. That’s why we call them: “conversation starters”.
We have commissioned various design products for Unilever, Telenet, Fruitmasters and Afvalfonds Verpakkingen, among others. We call these “conversation starters” for their sustainability stories. And we have done collaborations with Karl Lagerfeld and BEAT Cycling.

We have developed a new hand crafted, design plate material: CapsPlate®. As the name suggests, the plate material is made from recycled plastic caps. Of course the caps are still recognizable to tell the story of its origin.

After just over half a year, we were at Dutch Design Week 2022 with our collection of design products commissioned by Unilever, Afvalfonds Verpakkingen and BEAT cycling, among others.
Half a year later, we exhibited our first own product lines at Salone del Mobile 2023 and Art-Island 2023, made from recycled caps, but all three with a completely different look: WasteBoards, a new series of side tables and the enchanting Light Screens.
Beginning of 2023 we were rewarded “Company of the Year” by the NIMA (the Dutch Institute of Marketing). So congratulations to all our clients!
When you make a design product with us or buy a product from our collection, you support all the foundations and people with whom we work. For example, we support KNGF (Blind guide dogs foundation) and D-Dog foundation by ordering our caps from them. And we work together with various social institutions for people with a disadvantage in the labor market to make beautiful and sustainable products together. Because that is not only fun, but also makes the work we do together meaningful.
